Some nice pieces and especially Southwestern art. But there is no really great art, per se. The wonderful thing is they have "free" days so it can be a wonderful family experience.

Care has obviously been taken to preserve local history and art while changing exhibits range from 15th century art forms to exotic shoes. There is always something new to see and the museum is a joy to visit every time I go.

The Sculptures are huge and detailed. The stories inside are super informative. The history is fascinating. So worth the trip. But please no they are closed on Monday's. It is connected to Old Town.

Unfortunately, we were only in ABQ on Monday, when this museum is closed. There were sculptures outside which were interesting, but we missed what I presume was the best part.

It isn't the Met or the Louvre, but for a small city the museum is very nice. Lots of pretty paintings and a good amount of local historical iinterest items.

I found this museum to be very enjoyable. Preferred it to the Natural History Museum. Great lay out, interesting topics, exhibits, and displays. VERY inexpensive. The outside statues alone are worth a stop.
