What a Marvel Invention for it's Time!

If you're a history buff then you'll truly appreciate the magnitude of the USS Lexington. You'll need a good half day to walk around the ship and grasp it's long history.

This exhibit is very interesting. Allow three hours for it and it won't be enough time to study the whole thing. You can climb all over it and there is a lot to see and learn.

We loved this! Everyone one should stop here. The self guided tour is well organized and really interesting. There are lots of steps, if that is a hindrance. I call this spot one of the highlights of our trip!

This is so full of history everyone should take the time to tour this ship. Although you do need to be able to climb lost of stairs.

As you can imagine such a historic site would be pleasing to the adults, but for a young adult to be intrigued with the ship, was awesome. What a great place to show off history. It was so nice to be able to walk around the ship and pretend to be the Captain.

My husband wanted to see this, and I was "rather" interested. So glad we both went! We spent nearly three hours on this vessel. Entrance pricing is very reasonable. A small map handout is sufficient guide. Retired, knowledgeable veterans are stationed throughout the self-guided tour of many levels, and they add so much information and personal interest to the tour.... More

The ship was cool and when I was looking out on the edge, I was scared that something might drop and I lose it forever but all was good. There was lot to see around the ship and a lot of things to do inside.

We stopped off to tour the USS Lexington with our teenage boys. It was a great time. The volunteers definitely make this a must see. I would highly recommend making this a stop. My only complaint is that we didn't plan enough time to see everything.

This ship is obviously well cared for. The history displayed was pretty extensive and informative. We enjoyed the living quarters . The film on Pearl Harbor was by far my favorite. Our service members are great heroes. Sometimes average citizens forget why we enjoy the freedoms we have. Freedom really isn't free! This memorial is a wonderful reminder. Thank You!!
