Amazing amount of water coming out of the ground

Take a lovely stroll around the spring. It is very scenic. The water is crystal clear. Take a camera and a picnic basket.

I have visited Big Spring several times, long ago. I had forgotten much of it. This time, I brought my husband for his first visit. We both enjoyed walking the paths, seeing the spring up close, and exploring the small caves. You'll have to squat in the small caves, so don't bump your head! I enjoy the powerful sound of... More

The camp grounds and bathrooms need some major up dating! The are a bit worn and are showing the wear quite nicely. Wish the kids had a playground near the camp sites. It's kind of hard to access the river from the campgrounds. You must take an evening drive or walk to enjoy the deer early in the morning or... More

Big Spring is absolutely beautiful. It is one of the world's largest single feed springs. The water is one of the prettiest blues I have ever seen. The park offers amenities such as bathrooms, rental cabins, campsites and boat ramps.

The springs are big and the surrounding area is very nice and peaceful. Nice little hike along springs & bluff when you go past where it starts. Nice picnic tables in the area.

This is an amazing sight! You will want to walk on the short stone path that leads you to the overlook of the unbelievable force of nature! It is gorgeous!!! Be sure to read the plaque that gives you the facts. You won't believe the amount of water that comes from the spring each day. It is 4 miles from... More
