Amaizing architecture

It's a very striking building - inside and out. If you have spare time, it's worth popping in for a visit.

Kids love libraries and we are exploring libraries in different places we visited. This one is "awesome" as they describe it. The concept of some shops, hair salon, coffee shop in one place is amazing. The structure itself is unique. There's even a garden in the rooftop and a wonderful view as well! Loved it.

I live in SLC and go to the SLC library regularly. A big-wig attorney relative from Vancouver, BC visited recently and was very impressed that, like Vancouver, SLC's library was designed by Safdie. Library is especially good at inter-library loans.

Library very well organized and clean, with space for reading children. All books well organized. You can find a wide variety of books and CD's on site

The architecture of this library is outstanding and very unusual. A walk to the roof top is well worth the time and effort. For a quick and enjoyable attraction, visit the library.

Open area, pretty windows and scenery, quiet. Excellent views of Salt Lake City and nice Technology center, good selection of books. Only thing is the library seems like a frequent location for homeless to rest/sit. That made it less comfortable/inviting for me but that may not be a big deal to others.

Immense, bright & airy, well laid out. Definitely a place to spend time--even if you don't check anything out.

I love going to libraries. And since I am in the SLC area, I frequently visit the Salt Lake Library a lot. I enjoy going there. It's very nicely setup. Lots of floors. Couple nice small shops and cafes. But the main thing is the books. Has a large selection of books and it's so easy to get a library... More

The Salt Lake City Public Library is one of the most interesting buildings in Salt Lake City. It has unique architecture that is easy to spot, and hard to forget. Once inside, glass walls make the library look both futuristic and classic and an open and peaceful place to research, read, eat, or shop, while still feeling connected to the... More

Decided to walk in and see this interesting place. It has far more than I expected, and a really nice place to find a book & read. Or plenty of places to relax. Or roam through the few small stores. Find your way to the great rooftop terrace where you will have some nice views of Salt Lake! Don't pass... More
