Sunday radio / TV show or Thursday rehearsal... not to be missed. Best choir in the world in a building with amazing acoustics. It was so beautiful it brought me to tears.

While in Salt Lake City we went to an open rehearsal for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. The choir is excellent and the acoustics make the experience memorable. You don't have to be Mormon or religious to appreciate the quality of the music.

It amazes me that the Mormon Tabernacle Choir is comprised of all volunteers and has a very diverse make-up of members. Once the maestro lifts his baton an incredible experience begins.

Place is beautiful ! A must see ! The choir was good but not the best. They perform sundays at 9:30am, it really gives you a more local feel to the mormon culture

It's not every day you get to see a world famous 350-person choir perform for free! Ok, apparently it happens most Sundays in Temple Square but I didn't know that when I arrived. It was wonderful!

Loved it. Get there early to get best seat but anyplace is good and you can hear. Highlight of tour. It's free and lots of people in square.

Unmatched musical experience! This is my top destination in Salt Lake City. There is an amazing peaceful quality about the choir and orchestra.

If you like choral music, they are 365 very competitive voices who merge really well, and you will be happy no matter what the program. Thursday night rehearsals are free, usually in the Tabernacle, which has a really interesting sound quality that is hard to...More

I do not know of any guided tours from Denver to SLC. There are many places to stay in downtown Salt Lake. You might check out Airbnb as there are many of those as well around Temple Square within walking distance. There is... More
