Gateway needs some sort of adaptive reuse development, as retail stores have closed. 80% vacant Spring 2018. Opening Dave and Busters soon in old Dick's space, but that is not the answer. It's a cool outdoor complex which would be great for mixed use, small...More

Gateway has convenient underground parking that is free with any purchase in the mall. This is an open type mall that goes for 3-4 blocks. Nice restaurants and shops, although lots of vacant places. Great for people watching. A gem in the rough.

I loved the mall at night. The fire pits were very inviting since it was a cold and almost snowy night. As another has stated that the lights are beautiful and add to the area. I enjoyed the Barnes & Noble and Sur la Table...More

This place is sooo cool. We went to stand up comedy at Wiseguys and walked around the gateway afterward and the lights were amazing! All the trees had lights and they had swings that were lit up! It was magical 💕💕

The fountains are so fun in the Summer! I love the idea of this area becoming an entertainment alley. Its close to the Arena and could offer some great restaurants and places for drinks!

This used to be the premier mall destination in downtown Salt Lake, but it's now playing second fiddle to City Creek. They are losing a lot of retailers and several stores sit empty. We come here a couple of times a year to eat at...More

We gained entrance through the Pacific Union Railway building which was once thriving but now just a shell to over look a deserted area called the gate way . There was nice seating and a fountain but little else.
