It was a little chilly out, but my family and i had fun, it was beatiful, we also rented nearby so it made it easier to get there, the only inconvenience is how far out it is from downtown salt lake.

This is a nice easy mountain drive starting about 15 miles from downtown Salt Lake City. Very scenic with ski resorts at the upper end of the drive. We are from Florida and on September 20 saw snow on the ground, amazing.

This is such a lovely place to visit. The scenic drive is beautiful and we really enjoyed the walk around Silver Lake with it's scenery and wildlife.
