Once again, you are greeted by friendly volunteers who will guide you around this enormous space. The auditorium holds 21,000 people! There are also interesting paintings about the Book of Mormon stories, and several rooms with portraits of the Leaders of the Mormon Church. However,...More

Our guide was absolutely charming. The massive 21,000 seat auditorium is beautiful and an engineering marvel. Sadly, the rooftop garden was closed due to rain. Tour does include many rooms with pictures of old white dudes (past and current church leaders). I’m not Mormon, so...More

Actually very interesting and our guild was very good and it was free! The roof garden is amazing and there is great art work. The stadium is very impressive. The guided tour took about 45 minutes and very informative.

OK, how do you get jazzed about a conference center? Well it's really really big, I believe it's the largest of it's kind from an architectural point of view. It has no columns holding up the second floor so there is not an obstructed view...More

We spent an hour inside the enormous LDS conference center. There is beautiful artwork throughout the building, from paintings to sculptures to the materials on the walls and floors.

I'm not even sure I can pick a favorite part! It has the biggest indoor meeting room with a stage in the world, fitting 21,000 people. It has cool trees and flowing water on the roof. The paintings inside are so beautiful. And the paintings...More

This is the grand location where the Mormon Tabernacle Choir performs their Christmas concert. It is a meeting place that we were told can seat up to 21,000 people. I was impressed with the full span architectural design of the balcony area. Here is a...More

I didn't understand why this experience was on the top list of things to do. We stopped in to use the bathroom (honestly) and were immediately greeted by a LDS volunteer to give us a tour of the world's largest indoor auditorium! It fits 21,000...More

I did not use the parking garage. I can recommend using the rail system to get around. I used to and from the airport in Salt Lake City. Clear and concise markings for where one would want to get on and off the train.

We enjoy both Temple Square and the conference center. If you get to the conference center early (around 8:15 or 8:30 am, I think) on Sunday morning, you can sit through the Mormon Tabernacle Choir broadcast of "Music and... More
