The LDS Church always does things properly, this is no exception. It is beautiful, well thought out, well built and hosts the Tabernacle Choir which is a miracle institution. The conference center boasts the largest unsupported ceiling in the world. A must see.

We visited the conference center and were fortunate to be guided by a lovely woman, Kayla or Kaylin, who extended her volunteer time to complete our tour. We knew little about LDS and our guide answered our questions about the history, tenets, and practices of...More

Whenever visiting SLC, try to include a Sunday Morning. Then go for the "Music And The Spoken Word" event at 9:30 am. It is breathtaking beyond compare. And if you arrive already at 8:30 when the doors open, you may enjoy a full extra hour...More

We went to hear the abernacle quire practice. The seating was great and shear size of this place is breath taking. The pipe organ sounded amazing as they pravticed.

Don't pass up a tour of this building if you can. It is well worth it and completely handicapped accessible. The roof has a waiting surprise.

I did not use the parking garage. I can recommend using the rail system to get around. I used to and from the airport in Salt Lake City. Clear and concise markings for where one would want to get on and off the train.

We enjoy both Temple Square and the conference center. If you get to the conference center early (around 8:15 or 8:30 am, I think) on Sunday morning, you can sit through the Mormon Tabernacle Choir broadcast of "Music and... More
