This is where I took my pugs as puppies to frolic in the creek, hike and play with other dogs. It is right next to the heart of Salt Lake City's downtown and you might even see (hopefully not encounter) a mountain lion. Great place.

Take the time to walk ride or drive this part of the city. Salt Lake has an amazing number of parks and open spaces that are popular among residents and this is one of them

So close to the middle of the city. It is reminiscent of other large city parks, only this one is a real canyon with a real stream.

Moderately challenging hike through the canyon. Trail was washed out in some places but we were able to help each other through.

spent the day celebrating our daughters birthday had a picnic the camp site was clean and free of lots of trash. there was also a restroom very close. we had a lot of fun. its close to downtown salt lake. a very lovely canyon.

Best thing about City Creek Park is that dogs are allowed to run off-leash. With water nearby. And lots of other dogs. The footpath is dusty as all hell. Dark, silty sort of dust, the kind that Wheaten terriers seem to love to roll in....More
