Lots to see and do a very large variety of animals. The Hogle Zoo is impressive, and it's staffed by some very amazing people who care deeply about the animals.

Decent zoo for Utah. This is the second time we have visited the zoo in 10 years. I would say that’s about right. Not something I need to do every year or even 5. Prices are reasonable and this time of year is a great...More

Took the grandkids here for the Boolight event. Had so much fun. Highlights included the guided tour of nocturnal animals and the tigers. The light displays and music throughout the zoo were fun. Particularly enjoyed Warren Zevon. Grandboys had a blast!

Other reviewers commented that this was a smaller zoo and it is, but still worth visiting. I was surprised at how many animals were out--many more than other zoos I've visited, and they were active too! They probably like the cooler temps and lower humidity...More

What an awesome zoo! There are so many animals and exhibits to see. The animals here were definitely well cared for and the zoo keepers do a great job sharing information about their animals. Most of the time, at other zoos, you are left to...More

Tickets are $17 per adult. I have been to Omaha zoo which is $20 per adult and it's about 5 times the Hogle Zoo. Hogle zoo is not worth the price. I wouldn't mind if it was around $8-9.

I'd agree with Carrie D. on the rolling paths. I suspect you can see most of the critters on the flattest parts of the zoo, though. I'd contact the zoo directly, if you're thinking of trying to reserve a cart and ask the... More

My wife and I spent about two hours and saw it all. We didn't stop for any of the shows, and it did rain on us a bit, so we hid out under cover for a few minutes. We also took time to eat lunch. We don't have kids we were... More
