There is a lot to do at this interactive children's museum. They have a real helicopter on the 2nd floor patio, a pretend air-traffic control center and emergency dept. The kids get to pretend to fly the helicopter, take x-rays, dress up like doctors, etc. 2nd floor also has a huge area to build things with life-size foam blocks, green-screen,... More

We brought our 3 grand children ages 10, 8 and 2 to the Discovery Gateway Kids museum for our last 'Grandma Day'. They had a blast! They love everything about it. The ball center, the water center, the farm and store, the play house, the quieter building area upstairs, sending messages across the building, the 'fitness' activity area, the interactive... More

The discovery Gateway is a fun place to take children with three floors and lots of toys and classes. But it has its downside it is $16.00 per person that enters. If you don't mind pays by that much it is a great place for children to learn.

I spent a long time trying to find a place to take my 10 month old baby. This was was simply perfect for him. It is well located in downtown, cheap (6 dollars per adult), opens on Sundays (which is not very common in this particular city!), and has activities for all ages from babies to older kids. Fantastic! Will... More

Best way to spend a few hours!! Absolutely love all the centers and it's clean! They have free diapers if you get into a bind and need them. Also make sure get the $1 parking validation for the garage to save a few dollars.

We didn't intend on visiting but were walking by on our way from breakfast to the Planetarium so we decided to stop by. Our three-year old and a friend's eight-year old had a blast and it was a good way to kill a couple hours on a Saturday morning visiting the city with kids.

We decided to try this place after getting our annual Boonshoft Museum pass that included this place as one of their reciprocal participants (but no longer free admission, it is now 50% off). I honestly went into this place with low expectations, but was surprised at how enriching it was for my children. "I feel like I'm in a gown... More

In 2015 we purchased a membership. For the first several months our visits were great. My children particularly enjoyed the large room upstairs with the over-sized building foam. However, when they were removed my children didn't enjoy themselves that much. The options are dated and a lot of the time dirty. My kids still enjoyed themselves but after a few... More
