The view from Hurricane Ridge is just plain spectacular. The staff was exceptionally helpful and plentiful. Of course if I worked where they do I'd be as happy as they are!

The rangers helped us determine hikes that would best suit our abilities. They were informative and friendly. We loved the hike we chose. The views were amazing and we saw deer, goats, Margot and even a black bear! Good times!

The rangers at Olympic National Park Visitor Center were very knowledgable and friendly. They answered all of our questions. If you have children, check our their junior ranger programs. The visitor center had restrooms.

Take the kiddos when it gets wet. There is an interactive play room indoors with short trail outside. Wet or dry a great start to figure out a few park ideas and get your shwag on.

There's a small shopping center Forks Outfitters on the south side of Forks that might let you stay there. There's also an RV park the Forks 101 RV Park which is across 101 from the outfitters on a side street.
