Love the architecture of the house and its fencing! Well preserved home with so much rich history to learn about the family who lived there, as well as the furnishings and the reason it is called the Cannonball House.

Beautiful period home with lovely gardens.Shame we were limited with our time as we did not get a chance to visit the inside. They had a garden show which was nice and I brought home a few unique things for my home and gifts.

The tour guide was very good. While the house did not have original furniture, it was of the period. It helped me understand the history of Macon better. I would recommend.

We did the self-guided tour of Cannonball House and found it to be pretty average. Furniture was nice enough but nothing over the top. Best and most interesting part were the little display upstairs and the kitchen/ servants quarters in a detached building. Not worth...More
