Lake Greenwood is very popular place to bring the family for history, fishing and fun. The Drummond Center is all about how the lake was built.

For the history lover, visiting the state's CCC Museum is a must. The WPA program in South Carolina is well-documented here. The lake is very beautiful and looks inviting for boating or just a leisurely lunch at one of the picnic tables.

Our first camping trip of the 2016 season and it was a success. Lake Greenwood is absolutely hidden jewel. We had a great spot and it was very peaceful. I would recommend this campgrounds to anyone looking for the opportunity to get away.

Great state park and Civilian Conservation Corps museum, only draw back was that the camping spots were tight for campers to maneuver ( travel trailers) in the 25 foot range
