Great start to the morning on our way to Nelson. The wine taster was knowledgeable and accommodating with our questions. Generous with the number of wines to taste and handled several groups throughout our time there very well. The wines were superb.

Free tastings and a nice garden area out the front if you want to sit down and have a cheese platter. Try the Chardonnay - delicious!

Have always wanted to visit Nautilus and was not disappointed....lovely lady helped us through tasting some of the wines. One of the whites I had never tasted before was an "Albariño" which is a grape that comes from the north west of Spain and is also grown in Northern Portugal. It has a fragrant fruity nose with hints of fresh... More

We had a lovely fellow pour samples of wines for us at this winery who was informative, interesting, and fun. The wine was some of the best we had, and with 15 wineries under our belt, we know something about the wines of the area!

Thoroughly enjoyed this tasting with a very knowledgeable lady - the wines were great in particular the sparkling wine and the reds. Worth a visit and we are getting some of these wines.

Extremely enjoyable tasting at Nautilus' cellar door, learning about their heritage and wines on offer. A generous range of wines sampled, including some only available from the cellar door itself. Friendly and knowledgeable presenter. Highly recommend.

We visited for a quick tasting and were pleasantly surprised by the level of service and wines. We happened to stop in when the owner was doing a private tasting, so we're able to taste a few wines not normally offered to the public. We tasted a large selection of wines and enjoyed them all, purchasing a bottle of Chardonnay... More

It showed in being the winery we spent the most money at, on the last day of our Warbirds trip right around the South Island. The lady behind the desk was so lovely and made us feel so welcome. We LOVED the shell logo and amazing statue of it. Nautilus Estate is a mandatory addition to any wine tour of... More

We visited here at the start of May as part of our cycle tour and loved it! Nikki ( sorry if I spelt it wrong) was amazing and a fellow Brit! She explained the wines to us and the tasting was great. She was very energetic about the wines which showed us she really loved what she did. You can... More
