The Frog concert was a lot of fun and the guides were terrific, showing us tiny white frogs and small green ones too. But there were far too many people at this event with lots of small children. They should limit the number of people,...More

The sound of the frogs was great, but we could've heard it at our Hostal. There were too many people in the group, so walking around in the dark was challenging. We saw several frogs, but i would skip this activity.

Just walk up the road in the direction of Quito after nightfall and you'll hear the concert for free. Sorry, but these things in Mindo are a total rip off.

they day we went the restaurant was closed which was disappointing. They charge 5$ and they give you a walk in the dark through the woods,

On the day that I went the tour was entirely in Spanish, but one of the other people on the tour was able to translate a little. It was a little underwhelming - we saw a few spiders, a few tiny frogs, a couple of...More
