Looking forward to seeing Australian BeeGees with 5 friends visiting historic New Bedford. Lovely theater but the performance was deafening! LOUD base that overshadowed the very loud performers. Asked manager to do something about it but said they had their own sound manager and not much they could do! We left during intermission with head aches after the pounding base... More

They had a bar and you could buy candy. I would have liked more food offered. The seats were pretty old and soft.

Local theater bringing large scale theater productions. Fun events regularly. They cover everything from children's introduction to theater, opera, musical, orchestra, bands. Another beautiful old theater with architectural interest with a good night of the arts.

My wife and I went last night to the Z to see Kelly Pickler and it was our first time at the Z . We had heard a lot about it and I guess my expectations were too high. It was a nice place but boy does it need work. The chairs are a mess, many were ripped and the... More

For those of us that can't go to Providence/Boston to see shows, the "Z" brings the very best entertainment to New Bedford. I have seen numerous shows from plays to venues featuring specific forms of music(Celtic, Violin, Kenny Rogers etc) and was only disappointed once and my money was returned. I have also a taken my young granddaughter to many... More

Beautifully restored 1920s theater. Moby dick had its premiere here. Selection of plays and touring performers and the home for the New Bedford symphony.

I've been to the Zeiterion on numerous occasions! An array of shows for all ages! I, myself, go for the musical performances that normally, one would have to travel to Boston to see! Comfortable seating, clean bathrooms and many staff members to help with any questions.
