For two years running (while visiting Maui) my spouse and I have joined the morning clinics at this club. The pro staff - including Paul, Scott and Anton - are super friendly and helpful as well as really knowing their stuff. Plus this is the without a doubt the most picturesque tennis club I’ve played at, and the courts are excellent. So if you want some exercise (and fun) while in Maui I highly recommend the club and joining the morning clinics. Paul at front desk was very helpful with scheduling of activities at the club. Took a one hour session with Patrick which turned out to be one of the best I've had and I have been taking lessons for over 30 years. Just had a lesson with Patrick for our three kids. All beginners and somewhat apprehensive about dads big idea of a tennis lesson. Patrick kept it fun and they all had a great time and want to do it again. Thank you Patrick. Beautiful facilities too!

We visited the Wailea Tennis Club while vacationing in Maui. We were staying just up the road at the Grand Wailea and it was about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. We had never played tennis together and had very little experience. Our instructor was Scott and he was fantastic. He was easy to talk to and after a few questions about our fitness and experience he started the lesson. He has a relaxed but focused approach and was very constructive. He kept us moving so we got a great workout! He taught us the basic of how to hold the racket so as not to get injured and was very attentive to the fact that I had recently recovered from tennis elbow and tendinitis. We spent time working on our backhand and forehand, proper swinging and how to move our feet when approaching the ball. I highly recommend taking a lesson with him. The hour lesson went by quickly and we left with some easy to remember pointers to keep in mind next time we play. The tennis court was in excellent condition and the club house where we checked in was small and clean. They carry a small amount of clothing, shoes and other merchandise and someone was behind the desk tightening racket strings (while knowing nothing of tennis I mention this as it may be a service of interest to someone looking into this club). Overall a great place for beginner lessons and I got the sense from talking with Scott that he would be a great person for much more advanced players as well as beginners like us. We left motivated to play again soon!…
