Not to big, not to small, just the right size beach for sun, surf, snorkeling, boogie boarding, or just relaxing on the beach, it’s got it all and permanent restrooms

We sat in the shade of some trees on the left side of the beach - it was a short walk from the Marriott. Not too crowded - loved it!

Great beach for families. Water is relatively calm so good for families to play in. Snorkeling is great right off the beach, good variety of fish and chance to see turtles. Clean washrooms and showers.

This is a small beach with an excellent snorkeling area for beginners/inexperienced snorkelers. You can see all sorts of fishes, coral, and other sea creatures (not turtles) just about 20 feet from the beach on its right side. Great spot and easy parking.

This is our all time favorite beach on Maui. Unlike some beaches, the waves are a little more kid friendly and perfect for boogie boarding. If you get tired of being in the water, there is a great paved coastal walk that follows the shore...More

Spent two weeks in Maui. Brought the granddaughters ( 9 and 13) to Ulua beach and they loved the water, beach and snorkeling. They boogie boarded and floated on tubes. Absolutely loved this beach. In fact, the next beach day they chose Ulua rather than...More

The day was overcast and extremely windy. The beach is narrow and very crowded. Good parking lot and bathrooms and showers add a lot.

We went to this beach on a weekend so it was pretty crowded - we didn't love that part. However the beach is very pretty and there was just enough current to wake board but not so much that our 2 year old couldn't enjoy...More

Yes, excellent here. The parking lot fills up early so it can be impossible to park at times. Usually good if you're there before 9 AM, after that, it's tough and can be problematic. This place has best snorkeling, go early... More

Didn't see any topless women there and don't know what the state laws are. Why not try it as you can always put a top on. Remember you only live once!
