I make a habit of visiting basilicas in the cities I travel to and St. Mary's does not disappoint. Beautifully maintained with gorgeous stain glass and architecture.

This beautiful basilica is a very pleasant surprise in Natchez. It is open during the day, and well worth a visit.

We walked into the cathedral after walking around the park in back of the church. It is so nice on the outside but absolutely beautiful on the inside a must see to anyone traveling to Natchez.

This church is usually open but you may have to try more than one door to access.Look out for the unusual window and the horizontal organ pipes

Not to be missed. I am a member of the congregation. This is an active catholic parish, Many tourists visit and some worship. One of the most beautiful churches in the South.

It is worth stopping into this church to see it's beauty. It is the only cathedral church in Mississippi.

Not only a beautiful place to visit but a great place to celebrate Mass. Two services, one at 5 PM on Saturday and one at 10 AM on Sunday, so avoid those times out of respect for the faithful.

If in Natchez, take a few minutes to silently enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of St Mary's. The gorgeous ceiling alone is worth the stop.

The size and beauty of the Basilica nearly take your breath away as you enter. Be sure to take the time to walk the landscaped grounds, Bishops garden area and tribute to veterans. The live oak trees are spectacular.

I am not sure. We visited during a special service and photos were prohibited during the service.
