The NPS tour guide of the Nike Missile sight noted that Nike was the goddess of victory - just one of many interesting nuggets on this relatively small but great tour. So cool to watch the missile be moved from underground to the surface and...More

This was the highlight of a visit to the Marin headlands. Worth a visit even if only slighted interested in missiles or the Cold War. Go if you can! (Open Thu-Sat, 12:30, 15:30, take the 76x bus on Sat). (SPOILER ALERT) During the guided tours...More

Have a great time learning about history and the amazing building of the Nike Missile. Aeronautics and uses for different types of airplanes and missiles was wonderful. Children and adults both will enjoy spending a couple of hours exploring this place.

Hiked around this park and enjoyed seeing the remains of the cold war. The whole park is very interesting and worth spending a few hours visiting.

Great place to go, do it in conjunction with a tour of Point Bonito Lighthouse. Very interesting, even got to see how the missile would launch

I've lived very close to a NIKE base for most of my life and was always curious about it - now I know! This is an amazing tour showing how the missiles arrived, were assembled and then stored. They even take you down in the...More
