Great venue for us all to talk about work, successes and what's left to do. We had the room at the top overlooking the water and we used the cinema. A great morning!

Not been on Penarth Pier for many years. I was amazed at the re furbishments and quality of the restoration. Toilets were clean and a good range of ice creams and confectionary goods were available for sale. I would recommend s visit.

The Pier has been renovated but there were still some works being carried out. Used to see people fishing from the pier but it seems to have been made "No fishing" area now. There are some shops and public conveniences half way along.

Hello, The Pier is looked after by the Vale of Glamorgan Council, although we understand that they do allow fishing at the end of the pier during the winter months. If you are interested in coming down for fishing we recommend checking with the council first on 01446 700111. Hope that helps! - The Pavilion Team More

Nice little pier which has been lovingly restored. I particularly liked the little side alcoves with seating. It had a good feel to it. Old sweet shop was interesting too, and the man was friendly and helpful. I imagine it would be very different in the summer, but in April on a sunny day, it was pretty and peaceful.

Penarth Pier has been a surprise discovery for me. Attending a writing course, I found a real gem of a restored pier just minutes from Cardiff Bay. The pier has been renovated with real attention to detail with high quality materials. This all deserves much more recognition. It's a beautiful setting for a day out -even when sea fog wraps... I guess this building is late Victorian, but it is a little gem. Currently being used as a sort of arty space with a standard fare cafe at the back with lovely views across the Bristol Channel when the mist allows....

How lovely to walk across the re vamped Penarth Pier Pavillion with grandchildren, who fortunately still find just walking over the sea quite magical. At the entrance to the Pier is the Olde Sweet Shop - not to be missed, as an after lunch treat (For Nana's and Grand Dads too! It has all the ones we remember) By the... More

Popped in for a coffee, decently priced. Staff are very friendly and approachable. The information desk is useful if you're not familiar with the area and are looking for points of interest.
