The Gutzon Borglum Historical Centre in Keystone is a must see before touring Mount Rushmore. Learn the story of the sculptor who carved the faces on Mount Rushmore. The centre displays models, tools and explains how the carving was done. Borglum started the work when...More

I am so glad that we took the time to tour this exhibit. It provided fascinating information on the brilliant sculptor responsible for Mount Rushmore. I strongly recommend that anyone planning to see Mount Rushmore should come here also.

Outstanding information. Very limited hours of operation. Fun to have picture taken with an impressive statute of Abraham Lincoln sitting next to you.

Took a group of senior adults. The museum could use an update itself, but overall the artifacts, pieces of sculpture and history of the man that sculpted Mount Rushmore is well worth the small price of touring this museum. Mr. Borglum was an extremely diverse...More

After seeing this artist at work on the TV productions of the building of Mt. Rushmore - the historical center was very well done and a tribute to the man and his vision(s).
