My family loved the awesome cave tour and heart-pounding zombie shooting games! We got all-day wristbands, so rode the mountain roller-coaster 17 scintillating times. We had a blast and all of the staff were super-friendly everywhere we went on the mountain!

We visited Rush Mountain Adventures and Rushmore Tramway Adventures on the same day. Good thing we visited Rush Mountain Adventures first as our three sons, ages 13, 11 and 10, had minimal expectations. The boys had fun at Rush Mountain on the "safe" zipline, playing...More

Price for seniors made this an inexpensive adventure. We mainly saw families here as they would enjoy the other outdoor activities on the site. Our 10th cave adventure, and we loved it. 1 1/2 hours. I was last on our tour group of 14; taking...More

My family and I recently visited the Rush Mountain Adventure Park during our trip to Rapid City. We did the cave tour, and rode the mountain coaster. During our trip, the cave was celebrating its 90th anniversary, so the lights in the cave were turned...More

Thanks for the great review. I am glad you enjoyed cave tour and the coaster. This brings up a valuable tip for the coaster; always send the most adventurous in your group first. NO BRAKES!

Recommend going in the morning to ride the coaster, the zipline and do the 7D ride then do the cave tour. Lots of fun for the whole family. The food at the park was inexpensive and really good. We got to tour the cave using...More

Thanks for the great review. You make a great point when you suggest people show up in the morning for the rides. The lines are definitely shorter than they are in the afternoon. I eat at the cave most days and our fresh sandwiches are...More

We went to Rush Cave with a large group (100) and asked for some special accommodations and they were happy to oblige. The cave is well maintained and protected. The guides are knowledgeable and friendly. The cost was reasonable so I would hardily recommend. I...More

Thanks for taking the time to write a great review for us. We try to accommodate when we can, whether it is for 100 or 1. You will definitely need to schedule a trip back for the coaster. It is awesome.

The alpine slide is amazing! We bought the all day pass. The rush going down the mountain was amazing. The views spectacular.

Thanks for the visit and we are glad you enjoyed the coaster. Many people are so focused on the track 15 feet in front of them, they don't notice the great view. We are glad you got a chance to see experience our beautiful valley.

When asking our son what he liked best about South Dakota, he said the people. Interesting answer but dead on. Some of the friendliest people we've met. Second favorite thing of our vacation -- THE SPELUNKING/XPEDITION ADVENTURE CAVE. Again.... dead on! The staff at Rushmore...More

Unfortunately, we do not. While shuttle service may happen in the future, we are not equipped to make that happen as of now. You may want to ask the Lodge if they have a shuttle. Thanks for the inquiry.

A few questions for our trip over Memorial Day weekend with our family of 6 (kids ages 4,7,13,14) - Can you get tickets in advance, or are the cave tours normally available if you just show up a little ahead of time? - Can a 4.5 year old handle the cave tour okay? - For those who have visited both, do you recommend this cave or Jewell cave for our family, if we only have time to do one?
