Spectacular views
Jun 2018 • Family
What a place to visit. If you want to see some spectacular views then this place is a must visit. Careful of the fences as some are not very stable. The views are absolutely exceptional! Please visit!

Picturesque walk along the coastal path
May 2018 • Couples
We walked along the coast path from our hotel in Cap Negret to the Marina Greenwich. The path gives marvellous views over the pebble beach and Mediterranean Sea, and winds along a boardwalk, up the cliff and through quiet residential lanes. A lovely way to spend an afternoon.

Nice walk
Apr 2018 • Couples
The views are great.
We went for a walk along the coastline.
That is really nice to do.
A lot is paved so easy to do.
Safely it’s not possible to walk all the way to Altea.

Came among this lovely viewpoint by just traveling around via car. Lovely views with restaurant but when I was there that had just closed.

Amazing views
May 2017
We stayed in Javea and went for a short drive to find this gem of a view. Lots of lovely beaches around the area. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Cala Cap Negret
Jan 2018 • Solo
I had some difficulty finding this location as the name has been spelt wrong - should be Negret not Negre and location is near Altea Hills between Calpe and Altea, not Javea (see location on review page map and also one of my photos of an information board), although I can understand the easy confusion. Access is not obvious and the best way is to look out for the large Hotel SH Villa Gadea on the left as you leave Altea on the N-332 where there’s plenty of parking (also look for signs to Platja de l’olla). As you walk down to the beach from the car park there’s a pleasant restaurant next to a small park (Jardines de Villa Gadea) overlooking the sea where a monument on a plinth is in memory of the international painter Eberhard Schlotter who died in Altea. The beach itself is relatively unattractive and stoney but there is a plus - it’s reasonably secluded and a sun trap even in winter. A narrow promenade winds along the beach - not sure if it goes all the way from Altea. A small rocky island sits a short distance out in the bay and the modern Marina Greenwich is a bit further along.

Worth a drive
Oct 2017 • Couples
One of a number of stop offs we made whilst touring the area on a wet Saturday afternoon. Still good in the overcast climate and offered great views.

Awesome views
Aug 2017
We drove down to Cap Negre one evening in august. The views are amazing and apparently on a clear day you can see all the way to Ibiza. Unfortunately it wasn't that clear on our visit. For a lover of sea and mountains this is a true bliss. Wear good shoes though, there are some difficult rocky areas and I found walking in flip flops rather risky

My favourite cove
Sep 2016 • Couples
Down a winding hill, to free parking and a cove with a beach comprised of pebbles. Normally I would shy away from such a beach, but the water was like crystal, there was kayaking to be done and you could actually get comfortable in the pebbles, although it a little tough on the feet! So worth it though for the natural beauty around you as you are completely private and surrounded by hills.
