Great beach, sandy , shallow entry into sea with no rocks (only on the curve of the bay, where you could snorkel) so ideal for young children. Good for swimming as bay is sheltered, (open showers provided for rinsing off sand). Local 'club' for hiring of and teaching of paddle boarding, seems very popular and enjoyable. At one end of... We visit regularly, great beach with food outlet and bars all round. Very busy in high season but if you hire a bed and parasol usually ok. Love it her.

I live near to Javea and the Arenal beach and promenade is well worth regular visits. The Arenal is full of affordable restaurants where the service is relaxed and food plentiful.

I always come here when in the area. This time of the year is much quieter . Funny seeing the beach with a wall of sand around it but understandable as the area has had bad weather.

We walked the boulevard; many shops were still closed, and only people in wetsuits were riding some surf. Not very exciting, unless you find a good restaurant which is open. We did not see many.....

a lovely beach that is level and sandy (most of the time) easy access for all ages with facilities very close by. Although not very warm my grandsons loved the beach last week. The sea is easily accessible and good for swimming (when warmer).

The beach is well looked after and cleaned in the summer every week, seaweed removed before it starts to smell. Has palm trees growing out of the sand for shade, beach loungers are available for hire.Plenty of restaurants available on the front .

There are lots of 'in-places' on the beach - and quite expensive. The beach itself is lovely, if small - it gets VERY crowded in summer and parking is a nightmare.

Lots of free parking just behind beach but very busy in summer and at weekends. Shallow slope to beach so good bathing for all ages. Good choice of restaurants and bars on promenade.
