Adult entry is 3 euros. For that you get a castle walk and a archeology museum. Lovely restaurant on top with amazing views. Well worth a look

Lovely castle, when you are at the top you have fabulous views over the town and sea. It is in course of some restoration and more of the paths need doing. It requires lots of climbing and steep paths so only go if you are prety mobile.

I really enjoyed visiting the castle! Is a really nice place to visit in winter or summer. The ticket is only €3. From the up side you can have a beautiful view of Denia and the sea. Inside there is also a very good bar were you can enjoy a drink or a dinner in the summer, but you must... More

The guide started by pointing out that this was a castle, not a palace like sat Windsor Castle. It has had a checquered career been used to defend Dénia, as an agricultural area and as the site dor a Duke's Palace. The site is very open and has lots of steps and slopes and gives fantastic views over Dénia. Worth... More

There were some renovations going on while we were there (dec 16) but we thoroughly enjoyed the views and the two exhibits ...when in Denia....make sure to make this a part of your visit.

Restoration still in progress and some of the paths tricky underfoot, however views from the top are panoramic. Worth a climb. Lovely cafe to sit in and watch sunset. Check opening times as closes sooner than you may think.

It was a lovely Sunday afternoon in late January so we drove to Denia to visit the castle. We knew there was ongoing construction/renovation so we were prepared, but not prepared to be disappointed. Would have been better off not going.

This is a must of things to do in Denia. We took family to visit the castle with the tourist train, so no parking problems or a long walk. The leaves from the tourist office near the sea front. Some very interesting artifacts inside the museum. There is also a small bar where you can enjoy a cool drink or... More
