It's been years since we've been to Camp Verde and my how it has grown. We stopped at the Visitors Center and talked to a wonderful volunteer about the area and she had some wonderful knowledge and information about the area.

This visitor's center is interesting with a lot of history about Camp Verde. It's worth a stop to learn more about the history of the area.

It is a very small Visitor Center/Museum. It is very specific to the immediate local area. The local volunteer was as friendly and helpful as you could ask for. She walked us through several of the exhibits giving us a lot of additional information and also answered our questions about other places to visit in the general area.…
