We took a day trip from Phoenix to visit the park with family ages 9-56. We had an absolutely fabulous time. The animals come up to the fence for close up viewing. The walking paths are flat and manageable for those with walking difficulty. I regret that I did not make note if the bus was wheelchair friendly. The staff... More

While initially it appears to be very pricey for the number of animals and limited space, when you consider it is entirely privately owned without any state funding, the amount is very much worth it. We did the Expedition Passport which includes feeding a tiger and the Unimog tour. The Tiger Splash show was amazing. We were all on the... More

Out of Africa Safari is better than any zoo I have visited. The animals are rescued, and have lots of room to roam; two huge plusses. Because we had two small children with us, we primarily did the tours on the open busses. The guides-drivers were very informative, and happy to answer questions. The animals approach the vehicles to get... More

This was our 2nd trip to the park. I do think there seem to be fewer exhibits than I remember from the last trip, but it is still a very enjoyable day. I highly recommend doing the unimog portion as you get so very close to the animals you can literally reach out and touch them! (Although some you wouldn't... More

Overall, this place was awesome. We got there right on time for the Tiger Show, Snake Show and the Feeding of the Predators. The shows were funny yet exciting at the same time and each Predator got a whole turkey to themselves! We also took the bus ride at the end of the day and we got to feed a... More

My family was in town and they wanted to go again as it had been a few years since they last went. They LOVED it!!!! The animals are not in cages but are enclosed behind fences where everyone is safe. The Park does NOT train the animals. The animals are there for their enjoyment. One example of this is the... They are in a habitat where they can roam free without hurting themselves, each other or the public and are obviously very well cared for and happy. We had a wonderful time starting with the Safari Ride, they take you on a half hour ride around the open area of the park and you get to see the animals and... More

We visited last about 3 years ago and enjoyed it more our first time but absolutely still amazing. It felt a bit more empty. Although the zip lines get a Huge turnout. The Savanah area this time was a super short visit compared to our bus excursion last time, this time we opted for the upgrade Unimog and wish we... More

Very good experience ever in Safari zoo even though it is a small one. Suggest to take a train which is not included in general admission. However you can get more, because you don't have to wait or walk, no paved road in the zoo, so taking train so you will not eat too much dirty dust. And the driver... More
