It's clear one could be overwhelmed by touristic opportunities in this historic area. I grew up in the 01776 zipcode and I can relate! But I think this is the place to see. It's where Louisa May Alcott wrote Little Women. Yes, the Wayside next...More

Very much enjoyed our tour of Orchard House, where Louisa May Alcott lived and wrote "Little Women" and most of her other books. You sign up for the tour in the gift shop on the left side of the house. The tour takes 45 min-1...More

We attended a Youth Program with a costumed guide. It was pretty hokey. A middle schooler dressed up as one of the Alcotts. Bad acting so was a flop. Regular tour would have been better. Disappointed.

Take a step back in time to see how Louisa May Alcott lived. Such a fun and interesting tour that any fan of Little Women would love!

It is always a pleasure to revisit Orchard House. It's like being inside the "Little Women" movie. But Louisa was more than Jo, she was the first modern literary woman with the heart and the drive of a pioneer. All of the four Alcott girls...More

Would recommend that you use an Uber driver to go to the Orchard House. Would also recommend that you go to some of the sights within walking distance (Concord Museum, etc.) to make the trip worth your time.
