this small beach and marina is beautifully situated on the lovely estuary at Villaviciosa and pleasant enough to stroll around for the views but we found it grubby including the beach itself which had horribly polluted water - in which children were swimming unbelievably. There is a small wood in the middle and a cafe below a block of what look like holiday apartments. The area is much used by locals for various boating/kayaking activities and for picnics at the weekend although we much preferred Rodiles beach on the other side of the water.
