Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a very a secluded beach reached by a long, winding track from the main road near Ballota. The air is full of the smell of eucalyptus on the way down. The beach is very pebbly with a bit of sand but it is very beautiful and the sight and noise of the waves crashing onto shore is quite mesmerising. Beautiful.

Gorgeous water, secluded beach. Has a nudist area too. Only disadvantage is it's a long walk down a steep dirt track to get there and a tough walk back up. You can drive down if you wish but it can be tricky on a busy day. The walk is definitely worth it though. Small restaurant there that was popular.

I'm 77 so the nudist bit is now a distant memory!! Playa Ballota is an exquisite location and the nudist bit is way over exaggerated! Only problem is that at certain times of tide and weather, there is a serious under tow in the water and there have been deaths as a result.

a picture book beach that according to the locals is used by those looking for an all over tan (probably at the far end). At high tide there is no sand but it is worth finding this beach and it is only a short walk down from the car parking but there are absolutely no facilities here so bring what you need for the day and take everything back when you leave except your footprints.
