Only 2 euros for this and the castle, great value. Imaginative displays of ceramics and artefacts, but signage in Spanish only.

This is a good place not far from the Castillo. Visit the castle first and then stroll over to the caves. it is a small museum with a decent collection of artifacts to view. Give it 45 minutes.

Very nice small Museum in Almunecar of founds of the Roman and Maure period in Almunecar, old vases and amphores, presente in Roman caves; it gives an idea of the Andalous culture and her history.

Set in caves excavated by the Romans so this is quite unusual and there is an Egyptian funery vase 7th century B.C. which as far as they know is unique. Unfortunately there is no English translation, otherwise it would have been much more interesting.

Almuñécar has fantastic sights, but this one is destroyed by loud music. These are Roman caves with a special atmosphere which is spoiled by my way being blasted out full blast every minute of the day......

Well you can get here with the same ticket when you buy a ticket to Castillo de San Miguel. You can find a lot of different old ornaments etc. found from the place.

Some exhibits of ancient history in small cave. Worth to see together with the castle. You can enter the cave with the castle ticket.

Some gems in this small museum. Very cheap to visit, not enough information. It is worth seeing the caves which were used as social housing until 1970's.
