Knew very little about president Carter before our visit and left with a good appreciation for this former president. Very nice museum and grounds. A lot to look through, if you are the type that likes to read through and look at every single exhibit,...More

Our group spent 1.5 hours there, but could have done more if we had the time. The temporary exhibit (until Dec 15) on illnesses had displays on many sicknesses (many of which I had never heard of) and how they are being treated with the...More

My wife and I both learned a lot about President Carter and his family. Both in the White House and then later being a great ambassador for the United States. I just didn't know how much they were involved in many aspects of our society...More

The Jimmy Carter Presidential Mueseum and the Carter Center is so interesting and full of National History. Most people have no idea how the Carter's have done so much to make the entire world a better place. Could have spent the whole day there looking...More

Awesome collection of Carter memorabilia and the story of his life. It was a magnificent place to visit. The gardens outside are pretty too. Nice staff. Good gift shop.

The Carter Center is a tribute to it's namesake, President Jimmy Carter. They have several different exhibits & tours available, all are very interesting! They also have beautifully manicured grounds, that would be perfect for a picnic or stroll.

This is the 8th Presidential Library we have visited. Regardless of your politics, you should visit every one of the 13 libraries/museums that our now open. This was probably the prettiest as far as the grounds. However, the visit inspired me to learn and appreciate...More

We visited the carter center and truly enjoyed the visit. The setting is exactly reflective of the man himself, set in a peaceful garden with lots of trees and reflective of the tranquillity of the mission. Loved it and would donate to it.

I am not one to linger in these museums, but I am also not one who runs through. I think 2 hours is a good amount of time here. I really enjoyed it.

HIGHLAND INN. Not fancy, but I definitely enjoyed my stay. It's an older property with a resident black cat. It's eclectic and I loved it. The location is great--I could walk to many places for eating, etc., and probably... More
