Georgia Aquarium is the world's most magical aquarium. Situated near Centennial Olympic Park and World of Coca-Cola in downtown Atlanta,Georgia, Georgia Aquarium offers its guests an experience like no other. Across six separate galleries, with more than 70 amazing habitats, 10 million gallons of water and thousands of species of marine animals, guests will marvel at, learn about and come to better understand such majestic aquatic animals as whale sharks, manta rays, dolphins, beluga whales, sea otters, African penguins and thousands of species of exotic fish and other animals. The spectacular AT&T Dolphin Tales show combines incredible natural animal behaviors with dynamic theatrics, a Broadway-inspired musical score and a compelling story, which together underscore the connection between humans and the animal world. The animated "Deepo's Undersea 3D Wondershow," for all ages, tells an entertaining but important story about conserving and protecting animals and their natural environment. Cafe Aquaria offers delicious sandwiches, salads, pizza, pasta and delectable desserts. Two gift shops give visitors the chance to take home a treasured collectible. Special animal encounter programs offer the chance to go behind the scenes and come face-to-face with dolphins, sea otters and penguins. Guests can even swim or dive with whale sharks and manta rays in the world's largest aquarium habitat (at 6.3 Million gallons), Ocean Voyager built by the Home Depot. And an onsite parking deck immediately adjacent to the aquarium means quick, easy-to-find and affordable parking.

WE went to the aquarium on a sunday. Very busy our tickets were $31.95 for seniors. It is a great venue for children to learn about sea life. If you are going to a show dolphin and sea lions get they about 20 minutes ahead. The shows are worth watching. They also have several touching places that you can touch... More

Georgia aquarium is a good place to spend a day with Kids. The Dolphin show is good and there are short movies in 4D Theaters. If you buy online tickets, there is no refund.

This is the 5th aquarium I've been to in the last 15 yrs. I would put Ripleys Aquarium in Gatlinburg as SUPERIOR to this one based a few aspects. [1]This is the most chaotic one due to its poor layout. If you like 'alacarte' choice of aquatic catagories, you may like it more though. [2]exhibits were pooly described and the... More

I was traveling with my family, two of whom are young kids. Their admission was free. If you have AAA, you can get discounted tickets in advance through AAA. They don't offer one at the ticket counter. The dolphin and sea lion shows were fun. At the penguin exhibit, there's a small crawl space, and they have these glass bubbles... More

We arrived late afternoon, hoping to avoid the crowds of a Saturday in February. It wasn't to be. But, we managed to get to the Sea Lions Show. We had hoped to get to the Dolphins Show, but arrived too late from the Sea Lions Show. This was disappointing, considering the price of admission!! The galleries were fabulous. Animals/fish seemed... More

This is great! My children (13 & 17) truly enjoyed themselves. The dolphin show was sold out so you must be in a sit at least 30 minutes before the show. We missed that, but other than that, it was a great experience. Truly enjoyed it!

The aquarium has attractions like 4D movie theater, feeding animals and animals shows. Everything is very beautiful. It has a restaurant inside. I spend 3 1/2 hours there and I think is possible to take more time if you are with children or have plans to eat there. The parking ($12) was full and I had to look for another... More

The staff are rude and smug. Dont you dare ask them anything or bother them. All you will get is attitude and a dirty look. It is unfortunate this nice facility is staffed by nasty individuals.

My husband and I had pre-purchased tickets online for admission at 10 AM on a weekday. As we walked toward the aquarium entry we saw a group of buses parking along the curb nearby. It was only moments before the students released began to swell onto the walk way behind us, shouting, sparring, and creating general havoc which did not... More
