Georgia Aquarium is the world's most magical aquarium. Situated near Centennial Olympic Park and World of Coca-Cola in downtown Atlanta,Georgia, Georgia Aquarium offers its guests an experience like no other. Across six separate galleries, with more than 70 amazing habitats, 10 million gallons of water and thousands of species of marine animals, guests will marvel at, learn about and come to better understand such majestic aquatic animals as whale sharks, manta rays, dolphins, beluga whales, sea otters, African penguins and thousands of species of exotic fish and other animals. The spectacular AT&T Dolphin Tales show combines incredible natural animal behaviors with dynamic theatrics, a Broadway-inspired musical score and a compelling story, which together underscore the connection between humans and the animal world. The animated "Deepo's Undersea 3D Wondershow," for all ages, tells an entertaining but important story about conserving and protecting animals and their natural environment. Cafe Aquaria offers delicious sandwiches, salads, pizza, pasta and delectable desserts. Two gift shops give visitors the chance to take home a treasured collectible. Special animal encounter programs offer the chance to go behind the scenes and come face-to-face with dolphins, sea otters and penguins. Guests can even swim or dive with whale sharks and manta rays in the world's largest aquarium habitat (at 6.3 Million gallons), Ocean Voyager built by the Home Depot. And an onsite parking deck immediately adjacent to the aquarium means quick, easy-to-find and affordable parking.

I love seeing all the different animals in this aquarium. I have taken my God-son and nephew several times in the past, and now my own daughter and all of them have loved it at every age I have taken them (from age 2 to 10). The exhibits are clean, fun, and interactive. The animals all appear to be very... More

Very highly rated aquarium in downtown Atlanta. We arrived as they were opening, which was a good idea as it got more crowded throughout the day. An awesome fieldtrip for all the students we saw! We really loved the beluga whales- there are only a handful of aquariums in the US that have them. The whale shark exhibit was unbelievable,... More

The aquarium is huge and requires at least 4 hours to do it any sort of justice. We arrived just in time for lunch, on a day when it closes at 5pm. The food is good but basic, and quite expensive. The displays are wonderful and the shows -sea lions and dolphins are very good. The rest of the displays... More

We had an opportunity to watch our friends dive in the aquarium what an experience to be able to see that up close and personal. The dive instructor was fabulous we get a tour of the back workings of the aquarium. The dolphin show was really entertaining. I would definitely recommend a day they aquarium.

We went here for my birthday last year (wishing they would give discounts to neighboring states like they do for GA residents) and stayed for probably 4+ hours. There was a lot to see and it was awesome to sit in the room w/ the big tank and watch all the fish, turtles, sting rays, etc. It had a cool,... More

I recently participated in the Beluga whale interactive program. I worked alongside one of the trainers and got to meet, interact, and work with all 4 of the Beluga whales at the Georgia Aquarium. This was an amazing experience and I would recommend it to others who desire an up close and personal interaction with an amazing animal, the Beluga... More

I enjoyed visiting the aquarium and had a great time watching the dolphin show. It's not only for children but adults as well.

This aquarium is definitely worth seeing, but I don't feel it lives up to the hype. It's the largest aquarium in the world, yet it feels like you've seen everything after having been in less than an hour. It gets very crowded and is hard to move and enjoy the exhibits. Some of the exhibits don't even have the animals... More

Highly recommend the 'Behind the Seas' tour also! Absolutely wonderful experience! We spent 5 hours here. Food and drink are very expensive inside so we drank from the water fountain and waited to eat when we exited the aquarium.
