We had a huge brunch and we're looking for something to burn off calories, this was the best choice we could've found. Really like the water and it was large enough to have variety. It even had automatic washrooms and Wi-Fi.

This park is in the middle of everything. Great places to eat. Concerts in the park. Festivals in the park. Open dog park. Beside the Beltline.

There seems to always be some type of game going on here. There is a nice walk way around the park to get some exercise while watching some of the games going on.

We came to Piedmont Park for a rehearsal dinner and found it to be a joy. Great spot, beautiful views! The food and drink selection was great for us.

There are many activity options here- tennis, lying out in the sun, people watching, jogging, there were even possible boats available on the pond.

Lots of people including some peddles . It looks a little run down. The water fountains were nice and I enjoyed seeing the Olympic rings from the ferries wheel

Its clean, it's safe, it's green. Fabulous for a picnic or family games. Perfect, sitting under a tree on a hot day, but it does get busy.

Absolutely beautiful park that I'd fully recommend on a nice day - great to be able to see the city skyline while you stroll around the river under the trees.

We spend hours at the park and it's a great place to picnic and play. Carry a blanket or pick a table. I enjoy Piedmont Park and I would advise parking in the deck. Fees are reasonable and it's so convenient.

We passed a few hours here on our first day in Atlanta. Only 2 miles from Downtown there is a large parking garage...which was extremely busy given it was a Sunday and the weather was good. Lots of open spaces to play, scenic walking, kids...More

No you would need to drive from what I remember. Beautiful place. The aquarium is awesome. Also for the aquarium park in the left across the street for like $5.
