Piedmont park is a nice park to walk in or walk your dog. I am glad Atlanta has this green space I just wish it had more to offer. It often times looks neglected.

We spent a little time here one afternoon - mostly trying to avoid the heat. Lots of greenery and a lake as well. Nice and relaxing place to visit.

No you would need to drive from what I remember. Beautiful place. The aquarium is awesome. Also for the aquarium park in the left across the street for like $5.
