It was January, and cold... however, I have been here in the spring and it is lush, beautiful and full of life. It was fairly busy for a chilly weekday in January. The park is nestled in the city/busy burbs of Atlanta. There were people walking, talking and taking their pooches for a stroll. It has a fun vibe, even with everyone bundled. If you are a park person, check it out.

Very scenic. Great for walking around to sightsee and get exercise. Dog friendly. Water views. Ducks. No problem maintaining social distancing. Serene.

Perfect place for a picnic, a walk or to let the kids just wander! There are several areas especially for dogs as well.

Loved Piedmont Park! I think it would be a great spot to go with a group, couple, or even by yourself. Also super dog friendly! Parking was inexpensive and easily accessible. We also liked the easy access to the beltline. A must do for visitors with dogs!

This is a huge city park- it contains the Botanical Garden- definitely worth seeing- many playing fields, dog walks and areas to run, and a lot of beautiful trees and vistas. I don't think I got to see all of its sights ( I know I missed the green houses)- so its worth exploring for more than a short time.
