Had a guest from Colombia visiting and took him, my husband and my dog for a casual walk through the park. It was a beautiful day in November and the last spot to visit for our guest on our way to the airport.

I have enjoyed visiting this park since I moved to Georgia. So much so that I got married here on 10/31/2009 to my awesome partner. I also met my partner here on Memorial Day Weekend. We are not able to visit so much so now due to work constraints, however, we try to come by on our Wedding anniversary and... More

This park is cherished in Atlanta. Like New York City's CCP, this is one wonderful large patch of green in the middle of a very busy city. With great views of the Atlanta skyline, Piedmont Park is the place to spend a day outside during any day of the year: concerts, festivals, softball games, BBQs, art shows, flower shows, hiking,... We came to Piedmont Park every day of our recent stay, not only because our hotel was nearby, but also because it's such a great place to walk, run, or ride a bike. It's beautifully maintained and huge, with something for everyone--playscapes for kids, athletic fields, and miles of paths for pedestrians.

When on a business trip I visited here twice. It is a lovely park, with lots of beautiful scenery although it is quite vast, so if you don’t know where you are going it is easy to get lost. The views of the city are lovely, but at the same time it feels like you are far enough away to... More

Had a great walk here in 60F degree weather (I am from NY!!) back in late February. It is very clean and well-maintained. Our little trail ended right at the botanical gardens of Atlanta. Bring your dogs here, I hear they love it.

The whole park is absolutely beautiful. It's a bit of a drive from our apartment but it is well worth the drive. My husband and I took our dog a few times to explore, and you need a few trips to really take it all in because the park itself is huge. The park has two dog parks close to... More

Piedmont Park is an urban park in Atlanta, Georgia, located about 1 mile northeast of Downtown, between the Midtown and Virginia Highland neighborhoods. There is always something going on in the park, from Music Festivals to Art Shows.. Check the calendar and make plans to visit the part during an event, or just pick nick.

I can't tell you how pretty the views from this park are. I am from Atlanta and I can assure you this is one of the best places to watch a sunset. This is also a great place to run around and just hang with your friends and family.
