This trendy neighborhood has been reborn over the last decade with hot spots like Echo Lounge, a cutting edge nightclub with live alternative music, and Heaping Bowl and Brew, an eclectic eatery serving signature entrees piled into oversized bowls.

It's a good place to walk around during the day and find a place to eat. Plenty of shops to visit and tagging everywhere. Part of the Atlanta scene if you want to know what it's like to live local.

There are some good restaurants and bars in the area. The Earl is an an East Atlanta Village experience and is better than you may think it would be based on the decor. Midway has one of the best patios and beer lists in town.

Went with a group after a Habitat build. Great fun dining out on a patio, then fun games of Bocce in the court right in the middle of everything. Would enjoy spending more time there

The area has so much going for it. Great neighborhoods where people are active and involved. Has a variety of small shops and good places to eat. Close to everywhere via I-20 & 75.

You can find some great eats in East Atlanta but you will also will be dissapointed in some. The area is worth exploring but I would not explore it alone.
