Just love it. The area holds so much character and charm with tons to explore, all possible to do by foot or bike. Its an area that isn't overwhelmed by big box stores, or mega chain restaurants, but rather owned by the locals who love their community. Just walking the streets you can be easily entertained by the beautiful homes,... More

I've stayed in this cute area several times with friends, and it keeps getting better. Nearly all of the homes have been lovingly restored and are well-kept. The streets are curvy, hilly, and well-kept. It's a walking neighborhood, so you can go out the door and find your way to a bar or restaurant within minutes. We do this on... More

A great strip with good bars and restaurants to wander on a pub crawl, nice mix of old and young, parking is not always easy.

I go here once a week for a meeting. And there's great little shops and restaurants along the main stretch. We've had ice cream, coffee, and food down here. I like walking around here and it seems relatively safe.

Virginia-Highlands is a collection of eclectic shops and high turnover eateries with a few long time landmarks. It is frequently over crowded and difficult to park. Be certain not to leave anything visible in your car. It is convenient for locals who live in the neighborhood which is near the 1920's Morningside area of Atlanta.

Virginia Highlands neighborhood in Midtown Atlanta is an incredible area for just about anything, shopping, bars and dining, nightlife, exploring, people watching etc. I've been to a number of restaurants in this little gem of a neighborhood and they are all highly recommended. Genki Sushi is one of my favorites! The neighborhood is also know to host a number of... More

Having moved to the Atlanta from New England, this area has a great neighborhood vibe. I bring all my guests walk the area and visit the shops and cafes to experience 'Atlanta' beyond the airport or downtown tourist traps. If Asked why Atlanta? the Va-Hi area provides the answer.

This may be okay in the evening as there are several bars and restaurants but a visit during the day is a complete waste.
