Truly historic - only gripe is that despite signs saying they’d be open but we are not - be sure to walk around the area

I went by to visit and they weren't open but I did take photos outside and I was so excited and I had tears. I really want to go back and get a chance to visit. Walking around outside was great as well

I was on vacation in Atlanta for a week. My partner and I decided to go into the city and explore. We went to this great plane, it was serreal that this is history. A great man was present there and I got to see it all with my own eyes. There is so much to see and discover, you could be there for a good few hours just looking and reading everything. The atmosphere was calm and it was a great plane to visit. Its all free and they have a little gift shop where you can buy little things. The tour guide did a great job, the information he shared was really good. Visit there if you can.

We all think that we know the story of MLK but you learn so much and are so moved by a visit to the Museum. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

As a visitor, I didn't know much about the civil rights movement and was glad I visited this site during a layover in Atlanta. It was emotionally moving and informative on American history. Definitely recommend dropping by for a visit.
