Review of: Zoo Atlanta Admission Ticket
My wife and two kids visited the zoo recently. Nice zoo, the animal habitats are very nice and appear to be roomy enough for the animals. We enjoyed seeing the zoo. My complaint - the zoo went to cashless transactions and also required you to buy tickets ahead of time online. Fine, but why charge everyone extra (I believe $3) to buy our tickets online. The zoo is restricting us from buying anywhere else. They should eat the $3 cost. Also, why do you give a military discount at the door, but you don't give a military discount at the food or stores in your zoo? For these reasons, this is why I am not giving five stars...…

Review of: Zoo Atlanta Admission Ticket
When I visited, parking was free. However, there are pay stations in the parking lots, so I imagine at some day in the future there will be a charge for parking. They have online ticketing only. As my cell phone is inadequate, I printed a paper receipt and had no difficulty when I arrived at the admission booth. The receipt number was typed in and I was good to go. The admission tickets are timed. Mine was for 3:00 admission and I got there about 1:30 and they let me in immediately. There is a one-way trail through the entire zoo and there is no turning back once you start. There is the basic trail with a few side trails for certain exhibits. It is somewhat hilly but the paths are well paved, so the walk is not bad. There is also a good amount of shade. There is a train ride and a children's play area (near the end). There are several dining areas and shops within the facility. Among the many animals I observed were an elephant, giraffes, wart hogs, meerkats, monkeys, many types of birds (including ostriches), and giant pandas--the pride and joy of the zoo. COVID-19: the one-way path has reminders to wear face coverings and to socially distance. There are hand sanitizer stations at several points along the way. Employees wear face coverings.…

This is an awesome zoo. It has been the animals to look at you can see them well and the prices are reasonable. The zoo staff very kind and informative. They are also very welcoming to individuals with disabilities and service dogs.

Beautiful park. Great variety of animals and birds. Clean. I loved the variety of birds at this zoo. I also saw species of animals that I have seen at other zoos. The staff was very friendly.

Review of: Zoo Atlanta Admission Ticket
To be honest, even though I know it is because of COVID that it is set up this way, I liked the signage showing which way to go. I know it was for the sake of one way traffic but it actually helped us see all of the animals because we never had to back track. The habitats are set up so that it is easy to view the animals. We were a little disappointed that some of the animals were not on exhibit, like the red panda, but there were not many. I was disappointed With the gift shop situation. the one at the entrance only had a few things outside And the inside was not open at all. Which meant that none of the adult t-shirts or hats, along with many other things we're not available to purchase. I was able to get a souvenir spoon to add to my collection and I was pleased about that but my husband wanted a hat And was not able to get one. Also when we asked about the gift shop, we were told that the gift shop at the exit would be open and had the same Items as the shop at the entrance. However, when we reached the exit we found the same situation, just a few items outside And nothing we were really interested in. I had hoped to find souvenirs for my neighbor children but found nothing. It's a lose-lose situation because the zoo is also losing Revenue because patrons are not able to purchase those items. but we were pleased overall and glad that we made the trip So I do recommend it if you're going to be in the area.…
