A must see when in Woodstock

The dreary weather certainly didn't dampen our trip here, a great place and the 30 minute movie is interesting and very educational.

Always my favorite place to visit in Woodstock. Just a great, educational experience. More house/farm museums should be around like this because it is such a great learning opportunity for all ages to learn about a turn of the century farm and the first steps to create a better environment and combat deforestation.

We stop by here every so often during all seasons.Check the calendar because they have all sorts of events throughout the year. we've been when they are making ice cream, milking the cows, and just simply to enjoy the views. There is a historical restored 1890 Farm House and a lot of history about the farm and its 3 families.... More

Gorgeous views!! The farm is huge with sheep, goats, cows, and horses and is surrounded by mountain views. The staff are friendly and helpful and the museum exhibits are very informative and interesting. Well worth the stop!

Took my Filipino wife to the Billings Farm so she could see what life in Vermont was like 150 years ago. She comes from a farm family so she was very interested. She loved every minute of our stay and had to have pictures of everything. She especially enjoyed the horse drawn wagon ride. I would highly recommend that anyone... More

In our view it is essential to first visit the National Park Visitor Centre opposite and get the Marsh Billings background before proceeding to the Farm. The museum was interesting enough in its own right but it was the farm manager's house that was the highlight. Built in the late 19th century by an indulgent Billings to house a Scottish... More

Was a good experience my two and four year old enjoyed every moment, staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Great job to them, impeccable job as close to "perfection" as you can come to on a farm... just beautiful.

Like the title says, we found that the animals were the highlight of the farm along with the old farmhouse. We arrived in time to see the milking of the Jerseys which was quite interesting and you get to touch and pet the cows which has s a bonus for animal lovers like me. The highlight of the farm for... Nestled into a truly picturesque landscape, Billings Farm and Museum was quaint and pleasant. I really enjoyed all of it- I went on a day they were offering horse-drawn carriage rides. One thing to note: they take lunch breaks seriously, and all the carriage drivers went at the same time, so there was a line of families who had to... More

Visited yesterday and was disappointed! Many of the interactive exhibits dont work. Display cases of early farming implements and other farming tools. The country kitchen was very interesting as was the Billings house with very informative guides in some rooms. We wanted to go to the rockerfella house but were told that we needed s your and they were full... More
