Great place to go for a day. Snorkeling and hiking are the things to do here. Take extra food and water and dont forget your camera!

My friends and I motorsailed to Berlengas on what started out as a foggy and wind-less morning. But by 1030 a.m., the sun burned the fog and it turned out to be sunny and warm day. Berlengas is just fascinating. I love the sky-blue clouds...More

We stayed @ Berlengas for one day. In the beginning, it was very foggy and cloudy and you couldn't see much. But after a while when the sun came out, it was magnificent!!! Beautiful island with breathtaking view and crystalclear beach. We hiked for 2-3...More

The floor for camping is too hard for sleep, but the views and the fort worth it. Prepare yourself to climb a lot of stairs to the fort too :)

If one's afraid of the sea, then one's should skip this visit. It can sound dangerous (Atlantic ocean) with big waves. It is a protected area and it should charge more for the entrance, foreigners in particular. Well worth every visit; I'm on my 6th.

We decided to leave our children behind after reading many reviews. SO glad we did! The small boats, which get there faster is NOT suitable for small kids. I would definitely suggest going on a calm sea day as the waves are spectacular and high!...More

We made exciting trip by boat on this amazing island. For me one of the miracles of Portugal, where I spent whole day.

I went on a blue sky low wind day, but let me tell you the ride over was so scary with a small boat, I decided to put on my life jacket. The captain said it was normal wave. There were 12 of us, 3...More

The prices are 18-20 euros for a return ticket. Many different boats go there 3-4 times a day so you will find yourself a suitable time of the day. I suggest going before noon though...

I'm very sorry... but we just returned from Portugal and I didn't visit Trip-Advisor. Most of the boats that take you there have this as an extra option. Not expensive and the best part of the trip. Do not expect to see the... More
