Overlooking sea underground aquarium, well worth a visit. Displays are fantastic. Take 3 Euro discount leaflet from tourist office.

This place is so much fun for the kids. But it is split into colour coded areas for children of different ages but kids will be kids and they go into areas where they shouldn't. It is the parents responsibility at the end of the day but maybe these areas should be closed off so children cannot roam around.

This is probably the only park of this kind in Malta. Opens at 10am (till around 8pm), and it's free. Service always courteous, and it's very tempting for the parents to want to just run around with the kids and cool off!! Having said that, the shade for the parents could probably be easily improved. Toilets and showers clean (toilets... More

A colourful little splash area ideal for our 3 and 5 year old. It is free to go in with benches for parents to sit. It has shower and toilet facilities. Both kids enjoyed it.

A small colourful play area for little ones with the added bonus of water. Not worth going out of your way for but good for a half hour run about for children. Probably ideal for younger primary school children, Year 4 or under. There are coloured sections for ages and an area for adults to sit - note adults are... More

Is OK to pass half an hour or so and is free of charge. Kids enjoyed the water cannons and buckets. Good for younger kids up to about 10 years old. There is covered sitting area for parents who are not allowed on to the splash area.

This free splash water park lies at the end of the promenade between Qawra and Bugibba. It is small and only worth about 30 minutes. Kids really enjoyed the park after the salt water in most local hotel pools. We would leave the hotel in the early evening, visit the play park at the Aquarium, walk the promenade, visit the... Little children, clearly, got a lot of clean, safe fun here. There are fountains, chutes, water cannon, buckets etc and the area was constantly supervised by friendly, responsible staff. They could do with more shaded benches for the adults though. There are refreshment cafes nearby. For a little kid this was a much safer prospect than the nearby rocky beach.

Took my 2 children here to cool down. They're aged 8 and 7. They had fun for about 15 minutes but quickly became bored. It's fantastic for smaller children though and would be perfect for maybe 3&4 year olds.
