About New Dimension Scuba
New Dimension Scuba is a 5 Star PADI Centre based in St Paul's Bay, Malta. We are a small, but friendly and professional school, offering scuba diving for complete beginners up to guided diving or further education courses for experienced divers. We are situated on Sirens Bay, which is ideal for Discover Scuba Dives and beginner diveing courses. We also have 2 vehicles to travel to other sites around the island, including Gozo and Comino. Malta has been voted the 2nd best diving destination in the world! It offers clear waters, wrecks, swim throughs, arches and fascinating marine life. A few hours flying time from most places in Europe makes it perfect for your diving holiday.

Had a week of diving with NDS in December. The equipment and facilities are excellent. Jasper (our DM) was great to dive with, always picked the right sites for the right day (weather etc.) and always paid attention to safety when the conditions were a bit choppy.

This dive center just gets better and better. Great friendly, knowledgeable instructors willing to go that extra mile to ensure a truly amazing diving experience. Their pioneering approach to technically developing the skills of Advanced Open Water divers is to be highly commended, all Advance students complete the course diving with a Wing & Harness. I was so impressed, my daughter in on the proud owner of her Wing & Harness. If Carlsberg did diving centre's, this would probably be the best on the island. We will be back!!!!

I did four dives with New Dimension Scuba (actually two with NDS and two with Dive Wise, which are in practice the same company). The gear I rented was good quality stuff and pricing was reasonable. It seems that in Malta they take safety a bit more seriously than in some other places where I have been diving (and this is a positive thing). Going through the your own gear and then doing the buddy check (even the dive buddy is the instructor) is a good practice (and even naming a dive buddy to every one). First two dives were with Amy in Cirkewwa located on the north part of the main island. The site was beautiful and there was a lot of marine life here. We didn't go to see the wrecks here as I don't have the certification to go that deep (to about 30m). Non the less, I enjoyed the dives a lot and Amy was really nice dive buddy. After the dives she drove us back to our hotel and was sorry that no one had picked us up from there at the morning (I didn't even know about this possibility when I booked the dives). Few days later we were picked up from the hotel and we went to the Dive Wise center to do two more dives. This time the instructor was maybe Rob, very nice guy non the less. This time we were diving first at the dive centers home reef and for the next dive went to Valetta. There we saw the wreck of HMS Maori, which lies only in 12 to 14 meters. During these dives we were accompanied with another couple. For the first dives we were by our selves. So the experience was much more intimate than with ten other people.

Jasper and Amie are very sweet. Accommodated many of our requests and patiently explained the theory and in practice. I felt safe and confident throughout the Open Water Course. Highly recommend!
