About
Brunozzi is a small, family-run wine-growing and producing business located 1.5 kilometres south of Montefalco in ColleArfuso, a centuries-old rural village. We have eight hectares of land, two of which are planted with DOC and DOCG Montefalco vines and three of which with PDO Umbria olive trees. The winery is found next to the vineyards and is set up in a renovated cottage that has belonged to our family since the early twentieth century. The exceptional quality of our grapes is guaranteed by our vineyards' SOUTH WEST exposure, their clayey, marly soil and our environmentally sensitive approach to cultivation. All production phases are carried out manually, from the harvest to bottling, with full respect for tradition while using modern technology. We are focused on customers who appreciate the typicality and quality of our products. “Opening a bottle of Sagrantino, one experiences the fragrance of the territory, being transported there, for an instant, in body and mind”

Winery visit
Jul 2021
We visited Brunozzi winery with a group of 4 friends. First we had a tasting of 4 wines along with a plate of cold cuts and cheese. Everything was delicious, especially the Sagrantino wine Carlotto. We got a free tour of the small family winery. I absolutely recommend a visit.

A must to visit in Montefalco,
Apr 2019 • Couples
Fantastic experience! We visited Montefalco for a week and visited several wineries in the area big and small. This is by far the best the hospitality we have seen in a long time it is unique and very special and although they are a small family producer this only adds to its charm! Their wines are all fantastic, the wines are paired with local meats and cheese which again are all amazing. If this is the only tour you have time for then this is the best. Other reviews say it was hard to find but use google maps and it’s easy. This is the first review I have ever felt a must to do it is that special!

Simply the Best!!
Sep 2018 • Friends
If you want to experience wine tasting with a difference, head for Azienda Agraria Brunozzi. Perched on a hilltop with magnificent views stretching over the Umbrian landscape, Giorgio's vineyard is a "must-do" visit.

The tour begins with a Jeep Safari, which is great fun - learning about the different types of grapes as well as sampling them and seeing first-hand the unique way Giorgio cares for his olive trees. A brief tour of the winemaking process and cellars follows, culminating in the food and wine tasting, all absolutely delicious! A special mention to the Montefalco Sagrantino and the Montefalco Sagrantino Passito which are out of this world!!

Having done a few wine tours in the past, this one is by far the best! Giorgio and his mother are so welcoming (including Grappa, the dog!) that you don't want to leave when the time comes.

Thank you, Giorgio, for a wonderful experience!

Fantastic Wine tasting experience!
Sep 2018 • Friends
We have been to several wine tastings in Italy, all different in character but this was my favourite so far. Starting with a trip in Giorgio’s jeep to see the vines and sample the grapes, following up with a tour of the winemaking equipment, description of the process and brief history of the operation and then.....the tasting and the food!!!!!! The wines were amazing as were the cheese, cured meats, bruschetta and breads that accompanied them. Not to mention the melt in the mouth pork chops cooked by Giorgio on the barbeque. Incredible value for money, a privilege to visit this family run business. If you are in Umbria, do NOT miss this

Best tour of our trip
Jun 2018 • Family
My husband, myself and our two boys (12 &16) did the EnoSafari with Giorgio. It was amazing! Our boys loved the Jeep ride! The tour of the facilities was interesting. The wine tasting paired with food was fantastic. We did 4 others tours while we were in Italy this was everyone's favorite by far. My boys are never big fans of tours but they enjoyed all aspects of this tour. Giorgio and his mom are very warm and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Best wine tasting ever!
Dec 2017 • Friends
We went on a unique EnoSafari, traveling through the vineyard in Giorgio's Jeep. It was personal, fun, informative and the wine and food tasting was delicious. I have never experienced a wine tasting anywhere in the world that comes close to the authenticity and personal experience of Brunozzi. Magnifico!

A fantastic experience!
Oct 2017 • Couples
My husband and I have spent quite a bit of time in this very special part of Italy over the past three years and today's visit to the Brunozzi winery was an absolute highlight. We went on the ENOSAFARI which was worth every cent. We were treated to a stunning array of Umbrian treats, everything local and fresh, and perfectly paired with the Brunozzi amazing wine. We wish Giorgio and his family every success. A must do whilst in Umbria!

A stunning small vineyard run by enterprising young winemaker Giorgio Brunozzi
Sep 2017 • Friends
We were guided here by the tourist office in nearby Montefalco.
We (2 couples) had a lovely visit at short notice (1 hour!) hosted by Giorgio and his mother, who had prepared delicious accompaniments for the 5 wines we tasted.
All are good but the sagrantino passito is really special. We bought several cases!
Giorgio made a nice video of our visit and emailed it to us.
Definitely recommended.

A highlight of our trip
Aug 2017 • Family
We had an amazing welcome from Giorgio (and his dog Grappa) and a trip to his beautiful vineyard which was both fun and informative. We went on the 'Vineyard safari' in Giorgio's jeep which adults and children loved. The wine tasting and accompanying local cheeses and meats were amazing. A gem indeed.
