danse macabre
Feb 2017 • Friends
Must see the frescoes presenting danse macabre. The church is located just in opposite from the ski lift.

Little creepy by night
Mar 2016 • Family
I did not see the interior, but the paintings on the outside wall are fascinating. We visited by night, so it was a little creepy to. Anyway, worth stepping by.

An oasis (church + cemetery) famous for its Dance of Death
Feb 2014 • Friends
During the ski season, the spaces around the church are filled with seedy, muddy parkings at the service of the nearby ropeways. Even more significant is then the well-ordered oasis of the church and of the cemetery that still surrounds it. The Dance of Death fresco on the south side of the church is without a doubt the main attraction: it well carries also the non-specialists in history or in fine arts, in the mentality of the time (early sixteenth century) in which it was made. An explanatory panel at the fence of the cemetery explains in detail the written which (a bit as the modern comics) are shown on the painting and complete their meaning.

A delightful surprise
Sep 2013 • Friends
This little church sits quietly in a field. The outside walls are painted with very interesting romanesque frescos and the adjoining graveyard is very well tended with several local families well represented.
