Great place to visit with teenage kids. It's totally interactive and reviews all things related to monetary policy. Makes it understandable and relatable to everyday life. And it's free.

One of best parts for me was the process to get in the building. At first we weren't sure if we would be able to go in because we didn't preregister but it all worked out. The guard checks your id, you go through a scanner and then you get your temporary badge so you can access the first floor... More

The Fed Experience is definitely geared towards kids not Adults. As a fairly well informed person I found the displays light and fluffy and non informative.

We went on a tour of the Federal Reserve - lots of interesting information about our currency, the role of the Fed, and other interesting facts. They shred money in the basement, and packets of shredded currency are available in the lobby - what a great souvenoir! Also the gift shop has great items like Fed caps, T shirts, duffles,... More

You enter this museum from a nondescript employee entrance at 44 Maiden Lane. There is a guard at the door. I passed the door by mistake the first time, because it did not look like a public entrance. You must book online and must bring a print-out of your ticket with you. You cannot enter the door without a paper... More

I liked the place. It was really cool to see the all the money we have used as a nation. They have currency dating back before the civil war. If you are going downtown for a history tour. Stop by

Going thru 3 security checks is half the fun. The other half is seeing a lot of real money you can almost touch, but not quite, sorry.

The money museum is new with fun and interactive stations. Very informative and don't forget to get a free sample of shredded money before you leave.

Great fun. All the money info was interesting, but also enjoyed the info on the art displayed.
