Wonderful place to go for a picnic style lunch. Beautiful landscaping and fountain. Lots of interesting statues, and tales of a Vampire that lived under one of the statues.

History is definitely here. Well kept and nice walking. Parking is a real problem, so parking lots/garages likely necessity.

Capitol Square Park, as you might suspect, is impeccably manicured. The buildings are a bit overstated, but, after all, it is Capitol Square. Quiet on the weekends, it's a good place to go when nothing else is happening and you need a few minutes off...More

Capitol Square is beautiful, especially on a Spring day. The flowers are usually gorgeous and the squirrels are friendly. There are benches where you can sit and have lunch or just relax and enjoy the scenery.
